At the end of the long dirt-track walk to La Catarata de La Fortuna waterfall (see waterfall photo) is this impressive view - in the Northern distance is none other than Nicaragua, a country most of the Costa Rican's we spoke to tended to avoid. If you were to turn around 180 degrees you'd see a welcome cafe which did the simplest pleasure of lopping the heads off fresh coconuts and sticking a straw in to drink!
